Child support is the amount that the parent that is not in custody of children to provide their actual custodian. This money will serve to provide the basic needs of the children such as living expenses, food, clothing, health care, and education. Normally this requirement will end when the child reaches the legal age of 18. The money that is provided in child support will be given to the custodial parent directly. This requirement, by law, is limited to ones’s biological children, unless the child was legally adopted.
